Running a FluxNode is a straightforward process once you understand the flow. This guide walks you through preparing your collateral, choosing your hosting environment, and installing the FluxNode software.

Overview of Steps​

You’ll complete three main stages:

  1. Prepare Flux Collateral – Lock the required amount of FLUX for your chosen node tier while keeping full control of your funds.
  2. Choose Your Hosting Setup – Decide between renting a VPS or running from home on your own hardware.
  3. Install the FluxNode Software – Set up FluxOS, configure your node, and complete benchmarks to activate it.
